The Group was established in 1930 in Karachi (Pakistan ) under the guidance and leadership of Shri Pahladrai ji Vaid where he established a Biscuit Unit under the brand name of BP Biscuits and was also doing a trading business of Wheat in the company owned Cargo Ships. Subsequently after the partition of India/ Pakistan the family moved to Bombay and then to Kanpur, where along with his son Late Shri Madho Prasad Vaid ji they ventured into Manufacturing of Pipes/ Oils / Soaps / Chemicals and lastly into Iron and Steel by Starting Free-Forging and Closed Die Forging Units which was closed in the year 2004. Shri Jagdish Prasad Vaid son of Late M.P.Vaid got into agreement with M/s Parle Products Pvt. Ltd., (Mumbai) to manufacture Toffees and Candies in Kanpur.

Pahladrai Group is in the business of Confectioneries since 1992 and are associated with World's largest Biscuit manufacturing Company M/s Parle Products Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai. Initially the capacity of the Plant was 1000 Mt. per year which has been gradually increased to almost 13200 M.T. annually of Confectioneries only.
